It’s winter time and the holiday season is in full swing. With only one month left to go in 2012, I took a moment to put together some of last month’s highlights including box office stats, my favorite posts and new blogs I’m into.
The Fall box office is in full swing and October brought it’s share of highs and lows. See what I put together for some of last month’s highlights including box office stats, my favorite posts and new blogs I’m into.
It’s the in between time where summer is ending and fall is right around the bend. Summer box office is at a close but the rest of 2012 has a lot of great films on it’s roster. Before we get there, I put together some of last month’s highlights including box office stats, my favorite posts and new blogs I’m into.
Hey there blog world! I speak on behalf of everyone here at FTS by saying THANK YOU to the bloggers out there that nominated us for The Liebster Award! The Liebster Award is an award that is passed from blogger to blogger as a recognition of quality work. FTS was first nominated by Branden from Flixploitation. And in the time it took me to put together this post, we were nominated again by Ally and the Movies at Random Film Buff! I’d love to participate in answering both of their questions that go along with the award. You see to accept the award, there are rules that need to be followed. Check out the rules and how we answered the questions.
I like to think that I do my best to make sure French Toast Sunday takes over the entire internet. I’m kidding, I do a terrible job at that. But I am a big nerd that likes to talk movies and even guest on other awesome bloggers podcasts on the weekend, during my free time*. I haven’t given those podcasts their proper promotion here on the site so I thought it would be totally cool and not conceited at all if I compiled a list of the episodes the FTS crew and I have guested on. Prepare to have your ears feeling real good like. I mean, prepare to have FTS seep into your brain like a rage virus. Or wait… I mean eargasm? Fuck it, just go listen to ‘em.
For anyone out there looking for film reviews, there certainly isn’t a shortage of places to find them. The internet hosts a smattering of blogs and other publications filled with as many reviews as you can get your eyes on. But one source of reviews I feel is often looked over by many bloggers are video reviews. FTS once dabbled in a video review, and normally this would be the point where I would link you to that review but it was so uneventful, so dreadfully boring, that I will not bother you with any of that nonsense. Yes, maybe one day we will return to our video camera, but in the meantime, I like to appreciate all the awesome people out there producing fun video content. Take a look at some of my favorite video reviewers and hopefully you will find one that gels with your tastes. Don’t forget: If you like what you see, do them a solid and subscribe to their channels!
