Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) Directed by Steve Pink. Starring John Cusack, Rob Corddry and Craig Robinson. HTTM is one of the unsung comedies of the last decade. I’ve re-watched it more than any other film of the last five years (except for possibly The Social Network) and I still haven’t grown tired of it. I think it’s funnier than The Hangover but pushed to the curb by most audiences. Still my love for the movie continues to grow. Here are my 5 Favorite Things about Hot Tub Time Machine:

It’s the in between time where summer is ending and fall is right around the bend. Summer box office is at a close but the rest of 2012 has a lot of great films on it’s roster. Before we get there, I put together some of last month’s highlights including box office stats, my favorite posts and new blogs I’m into.

The summer movie season is over and honestly it wasn’t that great. There were a few great films like The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, and I really liked some underrated and underperformed movies like Premium Rush and Hit & Run, but for the most part it was a pretty weak season. The summer comedy offerings were especially weak. I’m excited to get into the fall movie season though which has a bunch of highly anticipated films.
