I’ve always wanted to travel across America. I’ve been a few times, to the major tourist attractions – Disneyworld in Florida, Vegas in Nevada, Cheers in Boston – but there’s so many places I’ve never seen in person, and most likely never will. Fortunately, there’s a solution, and it’s my own personal remedy to all life’s problems: movies. There’s been a movie set literally everywhere. Everywhere! So, this feature sees me cinematically visit a new state every week, through a film that was set there. You can read my journey so far here. This weekend, many members of the LAMB community, including several of my colleagues at French Toast Sunday, are having an awesome meet-up in Chicago. Alas, I cannot be there, so instead I’m going to pretend by reviewing a film from Illinois!
FTS will be taking a short vacation this weekend to meet up with some other bloggers for the Lamb Meetup in Chicago. I decided to gather a few old posts up to share with everyone in our absence and wouldn’t you know it, these posts fall right into this July’s director of the month theme! Take a look at these Steven Spielberg related posts from FTS’ past and be sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram if you want to stay current with all of the Chicago-related shenanigans.
