About Linds

Lindsay is the site's founder and main contributor. She is also the individual on FTS Podcast that speaks with an odd sentence structure, can't properly pronounce names and sounds like a 12 year old boy.

Maybe you’re looking to save a few bucks or the current theater choices just aren’t cutting it. Whatever the case may be, sometimes it’s just as nice to sit a home and watch a good flick. Take a look at this week’s picks for some At-Home Alternatives to the weekly cinema options.

I have never really fancied FTS to be much of a movie news site, which is why I rarely bother posting the latest movie news. On occasion, I’ll share something that peaks my interest or write a little about it, but I usually don’t find any real reason to post something that I’ve already seen a million times somewhere else. But with access to press materials and releases, I don’t want to have it go to waste. I love checking out new images and stills from films so I thought I could show off some nice ones from a few different movies each week. Some old and some upcoming, enjoy a little bit of eye candy courtesy of FTS.

Often times, after I finish watching a film, I spend a bunch of time online looking at message boards and reading reviews, trying to see what other people thought of the movie. But if a film contains some noteworthy special effects, chances are I’m nerding out doing fx research and scouring youtube. The technical aspects of a film and what goes into that process, anything from the camera work to the makeup, has consistently been my favorite thing to dissect in movies. So for a while now I wanted to start up a series here displaying my passion and I figured what a better time to start than with this month’s Lamb Movie of the Month: An American Werewolf in London.

I like to think that I do my best to make sure French Toast Sunday takes over the entire internet. I’m kidding, I do a terrible job at that. But I am a big nerd that likes to talk movies and even guest on other awesome bloggers podcasts on the weekend, during my free time*.  I haven’t given those podcasts their proper promotion here on the site so I thought it would be totally cool and not conceited at all if I compiled a list of the episodes the FTS crew and I have guested on. Prepare to have your ears feeling real good like. I mean, prepare to have FTS seep into your brain like a rage virus. Or wait… I mean eargasm? Fuck it, just go listen to ‘em.

Not only does the man have two Oscar nominations under his belt but 14 of the last 19 films he’s starred in have individually earned over $100 million at the box office worldwide. It seems that however you define success, Will Smith is killing it and with a slew of sequels in development he doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In lieu of his new film Men In Black 3 releasing this month, I decided to take a look at Smith’s 5 best roles.
