Maybe you’re looking to save a few bucks or the current theater choices just aren’t cutting it. Whatever the case may be, sometimes it’s just as nice to sit at home and watch a good flick. Take a look at this week’s picks for some At-Home Alternatives to the weekly cinema options.
Instead of A Good Day to Die Hard: Die Hard With A Vengeance.
So apparently a bird has flown in the collective ear of old action stars and told them its time for a comeback. Bruce Willis follows suit with A Good Day to Die Hard. You want to save a couple bucks stay home and watch Die Hard With A Vengeance, the third (and my favorite) movie in the series. It stars Willis and Samuel L. Jackson as the best sidekick ever trying to stop a crazy guy from detonating bombs all over New York.
Instead of Beautiful Creatures: The Craft
To be honest, I really want to see Beautiful Creatures. The story is intriguing, it has an awesome cast, and I like the overall look to the film. If you need your fix of Witches and can’t make it to the theaters, watch The Craft. The Craft is about how the new girl in school falls in with a coven of witches and the how that new found power corrupts those around her.
Wowzers. It seems like yesterday Lindsay was at a screener for this (you can read her review here). Flight stars Denzel Washington as a pilot who miraculously saves a plane full of passengers and crew only to have his personal demons exposed during the investigation.
Paranormal Activity 3 (2011)
Just in on Netflix, Paranormal Activity 3 goes back to the beginning of the story to shed some light on the supernatural happenings surrounding Katie and Kristi. Catch this on instant watch and pick up Paranormal Activity 4 on Blu ray.
Paranormal Activity 3Netflix Synopsis: A malign and murderous spirit continues to dwell within a San Diego home in this second creepy sequel to 2007′s chilling Paranormal Activity. Hoping to catch photo evidence of the spirit, the residents soon become victims in their own horror film.
What do you plan on watching this week, at home or otherwise? What do you think of my choices?
