It’s back for the second year in a row, the 2012 BABE OF THE YEAR. Yes, FTS showcases a Babe of The Week every Thursday for your viewing pleasure. Now that new year is here, we are ready to crown the most babalicious babe from the year past. So without further ado, check out the scoop for our babe of the year:

Channing Tatum
This was Channing Tatum’s year. Not just in hotness, but in overall career trajectory. After catching the eye of respected director Steven Soderbergh, Tatum starred in two of his films, including one based loosely on his own life. Adding in a stand out comedic performance from Channing in the hit comedy 21 Jump Street and the year was his for the taking. Congrats to our Babe Channing for breaking out of his conventions and showing the world he’s a little more than a charming potato. You can take a look at Channing Tatum’s original Babe of the Week post here.

Haywire (2011)

Made in 2011 but not in theaters officially until 2012, Steven Soderbergh directs this sleek but brutal action thriller. CT has a small role but is charismatic nonetheless. Check it out to see Gina Carano kick some major ass.

The Vow (2012)

A pretty standard Nicolas Sparks adaptation by most accounts, but this movie about a husband unwilling to give up on the relationship between him and his amnesiac wife still received positive critical notes for both Tatum’s and costar Rachel McAdams’ performance.

Double the babes!

21 Jump Street (2012)

One of the best comedies of the year stars a hilarious Channing and familiar funnyman Jonah Hill.

During the film, a drug-induced trip montage is probably one of it’s more memorable moments. A particular favorite of the FTS group is an extended scene found on the dvd that shows Channing’s character high at band practice. His improve skills reign supreme.

Magic Mike (2012)

This might have made money because of the scores of ab-seeking ladies in attendance, but Magic Mike is both an engaging drama and adownright hilarious comedy. It’s a fun movie that put Tatum on display, not just for his body, but charisma and skills.

Here, Magic Mike appears alongside Adam (Alex Pettyfer.)

Matthew McConaughey (who also had a phenomenal year) plays Dallas, the cocksure stip club manager.
