To get through the holidays i eat a lot of candy!
I get through the holidays with a lot of single player videogames and listening to FTS, pretending they know me and I have real friends.
always shop early!
start shopping early and pounce on the coupons and sales
Honestly, I have shifted to only buying presents for a few people and anybody else gets cash or gift cards. It saves a lot of stress trying to figure out what buy somebody and nobody has ever returned a cash present!
I defer all if my Xmas shopping to Rick. He always get people the best presents.
I agree with steve shop early, and I almost always shop online so I don’t even have to make a special trip.
I typically dont shop DURING the holidays, buy my gifts throughout the year, avoid the crowds and crazy people… oh yeah and lots of eggnog!
relax and enjoy the moment debbie jackson

Buy “blanket” presents that will cover a number of people. For example, my sister has 3 children that live at home. Instead of buying individual presents for her, her husband, and 3 kids (5 total!) I buy the family a present they can share like a board game. It works very well!
If you need to travel for the holidays, travel at off-peak times either before or after the rush. It helps both to save money and to try to avoid the worst crowds, especially if there is a risk of weather shutting down the roads or airports
Prepare a list of necessary holiday recipe ingredients in advance and be sure that you have enough of each on hand. That way, you do not need to rush at the last minute to get missing items, spending precious time in crowded stores and in long checkout lines instead of with family
