Remember the Tarantino / Rodriguez double feature frenzy that was Grindhouse? And remember how some cool directors made a bunch of awesome fake trailers to go with it? Yes, everyone knows Machete was one of those trailers as well as Hobo With A Shotgun. Both trailers have now become full length feature films and ever since the phony previews premiered, people have been clamoring for Eli Roth to direct Thanksgiving. After initial positive assertions were made that he’d like to make the film, there was no further word on what was going on until now. Eli is confirming and I am pleased. Earlier last week the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D film was given and R rating. I was all like “well duh, of cour…wait, they’re making anothe Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie?” Yeah it seems I was completely in the dark about this one. Later, the films first poster emerged and it’s about as gruesome as you’d expect. See the poster for the new-ish Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie no one knew was in production.
Ok so Birdemic has been sitting in my Netflix queue for some time now. It’s not that I don’t want to watch it drunk with my friends, it’s just the convincing everyone else part I’m struggling with. Now that number two is so totally happening, I think a double feature is on my agenda. See the trailer and such for the most anticipated sequel OF ALL TIME Birdemic 2: The Resurrection.
Hammer Horror, now known as Hammer Films is a British horror production company that has been delighting audiences for years. With titles under it’s heading ranging everywhere from Dracula to The Woman in Black, the company is a giant institution of scares. Just this past week, Hammer released their own youtube channel!
