Maybe you’re looking to save a few bucks or the current theater choices just aren’t cutting it. Whatever the case may be, sometimes it’s just as nice to sit at home and watch a good flick. Take a look at this week’s picks for some At-Home Alternatives to the weekly cinema options.

Instead of Resident Evil: Retribution: Resident Evil

I’m assuming that these movies are still making money, hence why they are still making them. But if you’re apprehensive about making the perilous trek to your local cineplex, stay home and watch the original that kicked it all off. Nothing beats hearing the voice of a little British girl saying “You’re all going to die down here”.

Indiana Jones Complete collection (2012)

Well finally the all the Indiana Jones movies are in one box set with the stunning clarity of Blu-ray. If you’re like me, you only count the first three movies in this series but the box set does throw in the Crystal Skull along with a disc of bonus material. Well huzzah.

Tales From the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight(1987)

When I was a kid I would stay up every Friday (or it could have been Saturday) night and watch Tales From the Crypt on HBO. So when I heard they were making a movie I begged my parents to take me to see it. To this day, Demon Knight is the only movie I wanted to walk out of because I was so scared. Fast forward 18 years later, the movie still has some scares and some laughs as well.

Tales From the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight Netflix Synopsis: A wanderer named Brayker has the last of seven keys that hold the power to eliminate evil and protect the world from darkness. The evil Collector, however, possesses the other six, and assembles a team of walking dead to take out Brayker.

What do you plan on watching this week, at home or otherwise? What do you think of my choices?
