(This is not very ‘fun’ but it is interesting.) In a drunken state, Charlize’s father attacked her mother when Charlize was fifteen. Her mother shot and killed the father in an act of self defense.
Great post. It’s sad that she had to be exposed that kind of violence when she was young, but it makes her work in “Monster” that much more interesting.
