I have to go with Anchorman all the way for this one. I was pretty disappointed with Talladega Nights. There are some funny parts, but some of it was pretty boring. Anchorman is hilarious throughout and the definitive choice.
I thought Talladega Nights was pretty funny but it never made me laugh nearly as hard as Anchorman.
I feel terrible having to do this but I went with Anchorman too. If there’s not something funny being said in that film there is something visually hilarious happening. It’s the balls

I saw Eric say Anchorman was shutting it out, so I voted Talledega Nights. LOL. I was on the fence anyways, struggling… I mean, they’re both great.
When I heard Talledega Nights was getting shut out, though, I had to be like “Please dont let the invisible fire burn my friend!!”
Ugh, it’s too hard not to pick Anchorman. I’m not sure if this is a suitable match up but what would go better against Anchorman? Is it the best comedy of the past decade? Maybe Talladega Nights vs Step Brothers would be more fair haha
In the court of public opinion, I agree that this is an unfair fight. Jess has a good call w/ Step Brothers.
That said, I would have probably gone with Talladega Nights. I get why so many love Anchorman, but I’m one of those “don’t love it but enjoy it” types. Hell, I’d take Old School over Anchorman. Is that a better fight for that one?
