I like to think that I do my best to make sure French Toast Sunday takes over the entire internet. I’m kidding, I do a terrible job at that. But I am a big nerd that likes to talk movies and even guest on other awesome bloggers podcasts on the weekend, during my free time*.  I haven’t given those podcasts their proper promotion here on the site so I thought it would be totally cool and not conceited at all if I compiled a list of the episodes the FTS crew and I have guested on. Prepare to have your ears feeling real good like. I mean, prepare to have FTS seep into your brain like a rage virus. Or wait… I mean eargasm? Fuck it, just go listen to ‘em.

I (Lindsay) appeared on episode #101 of The Lambcast to talk about the top 10 films of 2011. Go listen and bitch about my picks.

FTS are not nazis. We prove it in the Movie of the Month Lambcast episode #111 as  Nick and I host the Inglourious Basterds show.

Jess and I come back for episode #113 to test our trivia knowledge in the 5th edition of Lampardy. Is it possible for us to overtake the reigning champ?

Coming in as a backup, I joined the Lambcast episode #116 to talk about the Jurassic Park trilogy. DINOSAURSSS!

Jess called into the Film Yarn podcast on episode #106 to list off her Top 10 Films of 2011. It’s a brief message but Fredo has a lot of nice things to say and has a great convo with Joel of Deny Everything. Listen to Part One first.

The Demented Podcast threw me through a loop in episode #34. First we chatted about The Fog and The Eye and later is stumbled through a hard but fun trivia game.

After getting taken down in our battle to make Troll 2 the Lamb Movie of the Month, Jess and I were able to make our dreams come true on The Lair Of The Unwanted Episode #31.

Jess, Nick and I appeared on episode #44 of The MILFcast to talk about some of our favorite performances of the year so far.

Hope you enjoy some awesome podcasts!

* Free time generally consists of watching movies, talking about them, researching them, playing movie related trivia games, destroying less than qualified movie geeks in games of movie title charades, discussing arguing about the merits of The Hurt Locker‘s 2009 Best Picture Win at 3 in the morning and working on the site. All of those things happened this weekend. But I also went fishing and ate ice cream so I did see sunshine.

  1. I must be stalking FTS – I’ve already listened to all of these! I rule…or I just happen to have already been a longtime listener of all of these shows.

Not that I don’t love you and Jess, but it’s time to get to work on getting more of the male contingent of FTS out there a bit more in the podcasting world. Nick has dipped his toes in the water a bit (and I’m glad he’ll be back for more LAMBcasting in the future), but Mark, Will, and especially you, Rob…I’m calling you out.

    • Well Marc is a possibility but considering it’s difficult to have him commit to our own show, I don’t know how he would do with the advanced scheduling. I’m terrified of Will guesting on other podcasts. You should hear the shit he says that we don’t allow into ours. And Rob, well you’d have to ask him.

          • Will – For the LAMBcast, it’s like this: sign up for the LAMB Forums if you haven’t already. Then, when I “release” new shows, I’ll say so on Twitter (@manilovefilms – will be retweeted by Joel @LAMBthe, no doubt) and on Facebook and on the Forums themselves. When that happens, you go to the Forums and put in your preferences for shows you might like to appear on.

Gotta do it this way as demand to be a participant is pretty high. But I do my best to make sure everyone gets on one of their top-rated shows and definitely makes an appearance somewhere. Knowing that you’d be a first-timer, I’d give you some slight preferential treatment, too. :D

I know that sounds like a hassle, but it’s worth it!

          • I should also mention that if you’d like to guest on my partner Kai’s show (MILFcast), just hit him up on Twitter @kaiderman and he’ll put you on his list. Might still be a while, but it’s a much easier process.

    • Lately it’s been me on there but often times it’s Jess. We were just talking about who should take it on full time lol

I hope our podcast paths cross as well!
