Smith [from Shoot ‘Em Up]
You know, if my mother told me that if I eat my carrots I would be a badass like Smith instead of saying “it’s good for you” I probably would have listened. Smith is well versed in all forms of badassery, but when it comes to firearms, there are very few people, if any, that are better. I mean, the guy took out a group of goons while Monica Bellucci was on his junk, how is that NOT badass?
Strengths: Gun play, for sure. Oh and he can also kill people with carrots.
Weaknesses: I don’t know, I mean the man can shoot bullet out of his hand. But overall, he isn’t technically impervious to bullets.
Ripley [from the Aliens series]
Ellen Ripley is one of the greatest female badasses of all time. She continues to come back and fend off the super competitors in three separate Alien films.
Strengths: Never to be defined by the men around her, Ripley is a strong leader and will do what needs to be done in order to defeat her opponent. She is strong physically but is skilled in weaponry as well.
Weaknessess: She may be only human (well…) but she does keep coming back. Regardless, she can be killed like any average human could be.
