Ha – I just heard Lindsay talking up young Mr. Efron on The Demented Podcast on my drive in to work today.

He’s a pretty face (and body, I suppose), but I have to disagree with the claim that he’s charismatic. He’s a bit too robotic and bland for me. I can kind of see a *little* spark there (I’ve really only seen him in 17 Again, and he was pretty good there), but not enough to make him a star. Even someone who’s mostly annoying like McConnaughey has loads more charisma and personality (and probably acting chops, too).

Naah man, I really think he has potential. He seems like a douche IRL but he surprised me a lot in 17 Again. I might be putting too much stock into it but I feel like I can sense some real leading potential brewing once he matures. I just hope people still listen to the rest of that podcast after hearing that! People are probably like “This girl sucks.” hahaha

He’s just sooo pretty. I get his appeal even though he doesn’t do anything for me. I do like that b&w picture of him w/ the glasses. I do think maybe if he’s a bit scruffy he’d look a bit more manly?

I don’t see it for Effron, he looks like a girl. He’s so fragile, I feel that I would break him. I need him to gain like 45 lbs of pure muscle and real beard.
