It really sucks how lackluster his movies have been. I wonder if he is just picking the wrong roles or if this is really all he’s been offered. I enjoyed him in Away We Go, and It’s Complicated was good but he only had a minor role. I’d like to see him in better movies, but at least for now we still have Jim Halpert!
I know man! He’s really charismatic and funny in interviews, I think he would do well in feature films other than romcoms. I did hear that he is working on something with Aaron Sorkin about the Chateau Marmont though, so we can look forward to that.
I was really impressed with his small performance in Brief Interviews with Hideous Men. His acting made his character’s unbelievable infidelity story seems possible.
@David: I have yet to see that mainly because I remember reading some mixed opinions on it so I was a little unsure about seeking it out right away. Do you think it’s worth a watch or should I give it a skip?
The film wasn’t a cohesive success, but for each point against, I think it has enough good ones to justify a watch.
Cool, I’ll add it to the 10,000 movies you’ve recommended to me. All we need now is a Punisher/Suspiria double feature night!
